So I'm retaking a 100 level History class in addition to my grad school stuff this semester, and I am frightfully ignorant on most things history. We are to write a paper on a course related topic (American History 1865-present) and tie it into the most important/significant/tragic event in that time period.


I want to do something with the JFK assassination. Could that possibly be tied into the development of the Federal Reserve and Central Banks in America? Or is that just a conspiracy theory devoid of any merit? Also the military-industrial complex looks promising. Someone help me. I want this paper to have an anarchist, laissez-faire slant to it.

Personally I believe the whole Central banks theory ... it's the most sound if you have done the research, but that wouldn't be considered history now would it ?.... because no one can actually prove anything.

I like to write factual papers that go against everything the professor stands for. My way of getting back at them for making me go 2 school.

I had a white teacher with jungle fever that would talk about how the expressways were built to keep black people out of the city so they couldn't get jobs, etc..like every day in class. So I wrote one of my papers on the history of I-94 and how it was built during war to transport goods and supplies across the country to facilitate manufacturing tanks, planes, bullets, etc.. for the war just to piss her off.

Hasn't affected my brain. Got a 30 on my ACT and a 328 on my GRE. I also got a 27 on the MCAT but I only took that cuz I helped a friend study for 2 years. I think those scores are public record too.
