I have that one but have to say, Mirko is THE FUCKING man amoungst stand up fighters in MMA.

It was announced just yesterday he`ll be fighting in PRIDE`s 16 man heavy weight Grand Prix starting next month.

Have you seen Bushido 2 or PRIDE 27?? If not, you should.....Mirko has learnt how to soccer kick.....his fight in Bushido 2 is like watch a fucking car accident.
 
Talk about some deadly fuking kicks. What is is fighting style?
 
That guy is bad ass. I would not want to be on the receiving end of those kicks.

Well a bit mixed really. I believe he started out teaching HIMSEFL both Karate and TKD....he eventually fought and trained with Branco ( one true bad assed MF ) and was accepted and trained with the Croatican Special Forces ( anti terrorist )....eventually working up to being the unarmed combat teacher.

He was fired from there after becoming famous and successful in K-1 and after contract problems with them he started ground training and fighting for PRIDE.

He is now also a politician in Croatia.

He has a habit of breaking other peoples bone and has so far broken Sakuraba`s orbital with a kick, Bob Sapps orbital bone, and deflated his eye ball with a single punch, and recently, Heath Herrings three ribs with kick.

After beating the living shit out of Nog for 10 minutes, he slightly paniced on the ground ( as Nog is known around the world as the worlds best HW ground fighter ) and he got armbarred. Thats when he cheged his style to include the deadly soccer kick and has torn appart his last two opponents

The guy he fought at Bushido 2 took three leg kicks and still couldn`t sit down a few hours later. He put Bob Sapp out for several months.....he is seriously badass and many believe he may well be the first ever to accidentally kill someone in a MMA ring.

Yea, I saw this fight. It was late last year if I remember correctly. Ended up over in the second round. That was a good fight... But I wished he had won, and gone on to win the title.

I couldn`t agree more. I watched his debut live at K-1 and followed him there ( kickboxing ) and couldn`t believe when he stepped in the ring to fight under completely different rules, and made the other fighters fight HIS way...

He said he will be champ, and he`s absolutely blown away every single person thats stood in his way except one. Since losing he`s gone away, took 3 months off, worked on his game, and come back at a whole new,scarey level.

First, watch the intro, then enter....click Video`s and download files 22,23,24.

Especially 24 as its the only one there of Mirko AFTER he lost and made adjustments.

BTW, Tim Sylvia just failed his second steriod test so his title fight in todays UFC is OFF :rolleyes:

That fight has been hyped for so long I`ve lost interest.....had Tito ducked Chuck much longer he`d have given himself whiplash! lol

I expect Tito will take it, though I HOPE Chuck KO`s him :grin:

Funny thing, they cut Tim off the card and replace him with Cabbage........the stupid part is Cabbage is REFUSING to have a drug test so the fight is no longer a title fight. My fucking god....talk about some double standards there.
