Pretty new to this board but been lurking around for awhile. During highschool I did cross country and track and weighed around 115-120lbs. I am currently 125 5'7". I am 18 right now btw. My goal right now is to gain 25 more lbs of good weight. I've been working out but only on and off and I didn't really know much, if anything at all, about diet, nutrition and training.

So so far for the past month I started to get serious and am trying to increase my calories and meals each day. I have gained about 4-5lbs (from 120). Right now I can bench 3x6reps of 135lbs unlike 95-105 during highschool. I am wondering if this is a decent benchpress for a person of my size?

The only supplements I'm currently using is whey protein. As for food I'm trying to eat about 3000 calories a day.

Hi m8,
Im Mike, ou might see me a lot more in the forums now as im 14 and hav been bb for around 7 months now. I think your bench press is very good if ur just a beginner. But im sure you want to get a better bench, my personal views would say not to use supplements. But if they make you happy then i aint gonna stop ya, i dont use supps, never have, and prboably never will. I like to think i can get a big lean mean body from not using supps or medicines.

My lifts are.

Bench press: 3 sets of 3 reps, 176 lbs
Leg Press : 5 sets of 4 reps, 531 lbs

What is your weight/height if you don't mind me asking ;)
