Hi,
First time in this .com.
I am just an average guy with skinny legs.
Age 21. Height 5' 8" and weight 120.
I got problems with my skinny legs..they r damned small compared with my upper body.
My current flat bench press is 120 max :D but my squatting is lousy. Always get nauseated after set 2 ...the weight is just about 30 kg for 8+ rep... U can see how poor the legs r. :(
Should i start my legs as beginner while my upper body is at intermediate level. I am not sure 1 day in a week is enough for my leg. Since my squatting does not improve much in a month.
For diet, i am eating lots of protein...but i dont' get proper rest (about 6 hour at night and 2 hour nap at noon) since i am studying hard.
I am not sure genetic factors r really bugging me. My goal is to have an athlete body with most suitable chest for my body and 6 packs if not 8 parks:D and proper legs to fit my upper body.
Suggest me for my legs. i feel so frustarted to wear shorts and Dr Martin.

PS: Should i necessarily use these protein supplements while i am at this stage??

Try to start out with 1g protein per pound, spread it through your meals during the day to ensure some of it in the body at all times. Wether you need protein supplementation is up to you, some whey pre/post workout though (one or both) is somewhat common.

Hit'em with compound exercises, deadlifts ,squats.
You gotta pound them till they fall off, then you pull yourself together and go another round. You don't need to go too heavy to begin as long as you use good form and take your time concentrating on feeling the muscle contract and expand as you lift. Become one with your muscles, each and every one of them.
 
Sorry, in fact my max bench press is 140-150.:D
I confused with what i am woking out at +failure.
