I just wanted to take this opportunity to say hello. I just joined the boards today and I thought I would put up a quick post. I've been working out for over 20 years, sporadic at best. I'd go in spurts. Then, after a 5-year layoff, I realized I became a bit of a fat slob. Lost about 30 pounds and then hit the gym, starting in Feb 2002. Since then, I haven't missed a day except at my choosing. I like to lift heavy, but I also like to change up my routine alot (every 6 - 8 weeks) .. most of the time, its heavy but I've also done GVT and some other higher volume splits.
I'm 44 years old, have a beautiful wife and 2 little kids that keep me busy and I am probably in the best shape ever since my early college days (way back in the day!) ..
