My name is Ryan, and I'm damn tired of being overweight. I guess thats a pretty foward way to start out but its the true reason why I have found my way here. I need to lose weight, I know its not a miracle process, and that to do it right it takes time and devotion; but I am ready to do that now. I'm 18 years old, and ever since I was about 13 or so I have been gaining weight. Probably my biggest problems are that I don't get enough exercise, and that I eat fast food to much. I basically live out of my car, working full time and taking a full time schedule at the local community college, and I party a lot, drinking and all that. I'm about 6'0-6'1 and I weigh 266 pounds. Any ideas on where to start are welcome. I have been working out and lifting weights intermittently since I was about 14 with my father who is very knowledgeable, and in great shape. I'd like to start on a diet/supplement/exercise regiment thats going to drop the pounds as quickly as is safely possible, and once I lose some weight id like to start focusing on gaining the muscle. Any good ideas on where to start are welcome, and I'm glad to be here.
