The sad part is that earlier in his life he was and he also fought hard to maintain freedom. As he aged; I really think he lost some of his intelligence or thought process; his last few years he was a disaster.
I've seen dementia take a lot of really good people, maybe he was another victim, hard to know for sure. But his actions point to that IMO.

He was a fucktard. Who almost blew up and sank one of our own aircraft carriers trying to be a hot shot.. 130+ sailors and marines died as a result.. 200 more terribly injured.. as in had their limbs blown off but survived.. His old man was a 4 star admiral at the time. The Navy put in the fix .. and the whole thing was covered up.. He's was a total douche didn't deserve to call himself a Republican or Conservative after breaking his oath that he would support the party nominee no matter who won.. No wonder he's so well liked by mainstream news and Dems alike.. He was one of them.

Doesn't make a difference to me how a fact may or may not be reported..
I'm happy to report it as fact tho.. cuz john mccain turned his back on all of us ..

I don't know what you are talking about exactly, but I know for me and most people who are conservative and want to run our own lives, we feel the same way, because of what he has done the past few years. It says volumes that the Democrats love him now; of course they hated him when he ran for President, but now; to Democrats, he's a saint!

all he was at that time was a horrible pilot, why would there be a cover up? military routinely burns your ass for fuck ups. those stories are all bullshit spread during his campaign against Obama to get folks to Obama

It's never that easy in politics. Some honest people get elected with intentions of doing right only to get bribed, extorted, or threatened for their life. We could go on and on whether McCain was good or bad, but look at this scenerio. If any of us became politicians, we all know that swarms of lobbyists would come to sway you towards their interests while throwing large sums of money at you. Decline their interest and money to do the right thing if you want and see how long any of us would last.

There are some politicians who try to do what's best for the country, and they face all types of obstacles thrown at them. Then you have the ones that's in it for their own interest and power. It's never that easy to do right because there are so many people, groups, and lobbyists pulling politicians in many different directions. If any of us think it's easy, then maybe some of us should run for public office.
