Hey all
My name is Dino and im new on this form, just registered the other day. A little about myself: 5 11', 165 pounds. I am a 'martial artist', did my the whole karate thing growing up, now im into some jiu jitsu. Martial arts has been top priority for me growing up and still is. About 4 months ago, my girlfriend of 2 years decided she needed a break, and did the expected. Kinda shook me, naturally, so I decided to shake myself up a bit as well.
Some of my buddies are on the gear and kinda pointed it out to me. I was always very hesistant, as my goal was not to become 'huge' but more or less be a lethal weapon and know that if need be, i could whop a guy 60 pounds heavier then me no problem. In my short 21 years i havent used my martial arts once in any physical confrontation (its just the comfort u get from knowing-if that makes sense). So i looked into it and it definitely sounded appealing. I was offered a bouncing position at a downtown club (through my gym) in vancouver, but naturally since i'm a smaller framed individual, i knew i needed muscle, for the intimidation factor.
I have been going through this forum for the last couple of weeks or so, and it seems really cool. I know how all of you experienced guys stress diet and nutrition before the juice, and I respect your opinions. I have been training consistently every day for the past 6 years, my training more or less involved a combination of flexibility exercises and strength training. I have been researching for the past 4 months on steroids, possible side effects, pct, etc. etc. I eat right, meaning my intake is above average, but not nearly what some of you guys take in (5000+ calories/day???), thats insane-definitely in a good way. I feel that my martial arts have given me the mental strength and control to handle the physcological effect of steroids. Physically, in the last three months, I have preparing by upping my calorie intake, and my general threshold of food by consciously eating like I would if I was on the gear, before and after. I realise it is a lifestyle. I am going to prepare for another 3/4 months before I even think about getting some gear.
Well thats the shortened version of my story lol, i look forward to hearing from you guys and hearing what you have to say. My mind is made up though, the juice is coming more sooner then later lol. Peace out.
