do any of you have good ways of spiking your insulin (to absorb nutrients) and keeping it up til you've had enough time to absorb it all? i heard that the initial sugar drink will spike your insulin but won't last long enough to continue the absorption. i read that dextrose/maltodextrine works from one of the threads but i'm trying to limit the carbs. are there other methods like ALA's or chromium picolinate? perhaps mixing dextrose (about 30 grams) with one of these supplements? obviously, i don't wanna be guzzling a sugary drink, then following it with another sugar drink 20 mins later and again another 15 mins later. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/catcrea.htm
