 at 4 inches wouldn't that be more of a cage than a ring?
I like to think of it as a band on a fine cigar, the kind of cigar that belongs where a former President put one before.....

Depends on how much you want to spend. Movados are absolute POS and for people who don't know anything about a quality made watch. Only college kids and recent college grads wear movados. If you are going in the $1,000-$10,000 price range then pretty much nothing beats an Omega. Forget Breitling, forget Tags, Omega owns them all. Omega is pretty much on par w/ Rolex in terms of quality and craftsmanship. Or you could always just buy the $500k Rafael Nadal time piece. Yes I am bit of a watch snob.

No, just an asshole.

What the fuck are you basing any of that on? The guy posts a sub 1k watch, and the only things you can recommend are between 1k and 500k?

What a prick.

Thats like someone asking for opinions on a Ford, and you trashing anything other than a Jaguar. A little elitist no?

What are you basing any of that shit about Movado on? They are a GREAT watch. I can't afford an Omega, or Rolex, or Tag for that matter, and a Movado is at the upper limit of what I would even consider to be a reasonable price range. This makes me a college kid who knows "nothing about watches"? No, it just makes you a blowhard.

Get over yourself and maybe try to be helpful.

The fact that you reference Rolex as the benchmark of watches tells me 1) Yes, you are a watch snob. 2) You know nothing about quality automatic watches. Rolex is the Burger King of automatic watches, but the metaphor doesn't quite work because Burger King isn't outrageously over priced in terms of quality. Rolex is. It is a undependable timepiece, unreadable after dark, and it employs the design innovations of Mercedes, which is to say that it is boring, basic and uninspired. A Rolex is a piece of shit admired only by pseudo watch snobs who know nothing about watches, or the horological subtleties that define a fine watch. And you claim to be an expert? Please.
