Meal Replacement Powder

Hey what's up. I am interested in two different meal replacement powders: Optimum Nutrition's Opti Pro-Meal and EAS Myoplex. Are these good products?? Do MRP's also contain whey protein??

dmx. if i recall,they both contain a mixture several different kinds of protien,i guess it depends on your needs,and taste buds i thimk eas's does contain more of a whey isolate,and opts pro meal is more of an milk,egg combo...

I've used EAS Myoplex. I do not question the quality of the product, I just don't care for the taste of it. Yes, it contains whey.

Most MRPs contain varying amounts of whey(concentrate, isolate, and/or hydrolyzed), albumin, casein, and/or soy. Most of the one's put out by the big companies, including those you mentioned, are of good quality. The biggest variations are usually in AMOUNTS of protein, carbs, and fat grams...as well as in taste and texture.

There are a handful of companies that put out "all whey" versions, however.
