Why? That movie was barely worth watching. Why do people think it was so awesome? The whole thing was overacted and didn't have a batmanny feel.
Michael keaton was perfect. That movie was darker and foreboding. Like Batman should be, and the joker (Jack) was amazing.
On another note, Spiderman is SUPPOSED to be small and thin.
He was never bulky.
Why? Happy to tell ya. Great action. The entire evolution of Batman from the "who am I?" into batman was outstanding. When he was put into solitary after the prison fight:
Batman"What are you puting me in the hole for? ... I don't need protection."
Guard "It's not for your protection ... it's for theirs"
It was dark and foreboding, showing his fears and how he conquered them.
Michael keaton is a skinny little Barney Fife kinda guy that has no place playing a big strong super hero like batman. No-one who looks like he wears a size 32 shirt should wear the Cape. Nicholson was amazing though ... I'll give ya that one. You gotta give it up for Christian bale though ... the dedication Bale has to his art is top notch. From the stick person in "The Machinist" to this physique ...
You can be small and thin ... but ya doesn't have ta be a bitch like they make him out to be in this series. I love Spidey ... watched him everyday as a ute back in the late 60's early 70's. But this guy they chose to play him is too effeminate.
He's turned one of my favorite childhood Super Heros into Spiderbitch.

The whole Alpha flight were Canadian, and were originally part of the X-men.
