What would you say the most effective natural supplements are right now for increasing sports/physical performance?

Here are the ones i plan on running over the next couple of months, but feel free to post/add suggestions which are not on the list

Lipo-6 (caffeine) as a pre-workout boost

CEE (creatine) for strength endurance and recovery

Glutamine for recovery

ZMA for sleep

Taurine as a cell volumiser

ALA to improve glucose response

Nettle Root and Fenugreek to free up test and regulate estrogen

I'm looking to possibly add more to that list, so if anyone is having great results from a certain product let us know about it!

Looks goos. I mean before i caught this shit I would take the following everyday year round

taurine: 2-4g up to 4 times a day
glutamine: 5-7g 4 times a day
amino acid powder, 10g 5 times a day
caffeine powder, 500mg pre and post( i know I know)
And I would cycle the following

creatine monohydrate- 8-16 weeks on, 5g twice daily, no loading
aakg powder, 4g 3-4 times daily
tribulus, 2000mg a day in 3 doses
zma i also take year round at bed.

Do you think any of that could have attributed to what you got?

Taurine is great, CEE is great, R-ALA is cool, ALA not so much. Personal preference is R-ala. ZMA is ok, if you have the bones for it, im convinced, at this point, that glutamine is garbage, though.

All of these are personal experience, again.

i just ordered some r-ala on fish's backing. i'm pretty excited for my next batch of supps.

i recently introduced milk thistle, not that i need it, but if its affordable as it was, theres nothing wrong with getting my liver into tip-top function for if i choose to go the anabolic route down the road.

how do people take r-ala?

In no particular order...

-creatine
-glutamine
-BCAAs
-EFAs
-vitamin C
-multivitamin/mineral
-certain insulinogenic compounds
-E/C for fat loss
-L-Carnosine

There are plenty more very good ones, but those are the basics.

Dyl, I do not belive it is what caused it. I belive it was the fact that I was a Meth head at 14, and gut bombed alot of it.

Multi, Whey.

I call BS on most other supplements, I think a lot of them are placebo. I've found no real benefit from creatine or glutamine. Maybe it works great for others though.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones

What crackhead voted GAKIC?

Not I, but i would be reasonably interested in trying it. So long as i didn't have to pay the extortionate price for it.

None of the ones I listed are placebo effects. They are ones that have true, measurable results time and again. However, of course there are people out there that don't respond to certain things, and you could be one of them. Hell, I know guys that have taken certain steroids and have not added a single pound. It happens.

Ive wasted a good bit of money trying stuff out. I have really only had a good amount of success with CEE and whey. I have enjoyed GREAT gains with Muscle Milk (cookies and creme) right before bed. I think this has made the biggest difference aside from good eating.

Save your money-it sucks ass. I have asked a few people and they say the same thing. It does nothing.

There is actually some research on it.

I wouldn't expect the results they claim in the ads, but i would like to use it for a few weeks to assess the effects.

Cissus should be on the list, IMO. I really like camphibolic. Also, Cit Mallate is a good one, but expensive at 5 g/day.

I'm using cissus right now (sixth day on) for my sore shoulder. So far it feels worse, and i'm not sure why. I've posed the Q to synergy mscle to see what they say. I'm wondering if its an effect from the cortisol-lowering properties of cissus.

Any input?

That would be my guess. Of course there is always the possibility that it is underdosed. I have heard that, from time to time, companies sell products that are underdosed. You ever heard of this Rob? :D

Topolo, your still whinning about being a non responder...LOL:laugh:

Ive tried creatine mono-hydrate, di-creatine malate and tri-creatine malate and after each container was gone all i noticed was an empty feeling in my wallet....

If they do indeed do something, either im a non responder or the effect isnt great enough to notice...

I can think of a few actually.

In our case, there wasn't any dose at all, nevermind "under" lol.

I don't believe so.

And even if it was, that doesn't necessarily mean the results are skewed.
