Anything specificly best for a young female to take?

I was looking at the One a Day Womens and One a Day Adult, the womans gas less minerals than Adult, but has more of what a woman should need on a day to day basis..

Any suggestions would be nice :)

I'm not sure specifically what is good for women, but I can tell you brand makes a huge difference. Solgar makes excellent vitamins. I used to take whatever vitamins my mom bought, which included a few different brands throughout the years. I started taking Solgar's and I know for sure more vitamins are absorbed. I know this because my urine is almost neon/fluorescent the next time or two that I pee after taking the vitamin.

Bump, sorry CP, but a pill that changes your pee colour isnt exactly what I am after lol.

Best multivitamins I have taken change my pee color. I???m not sure what it is in them that do change it, but whatever it is keep it coming. I like it :D

IMO go with the One a Day Womens if it has more of the stuff you think you need???

I heard women should always take Pre-Natal Multi-Vitamins. If you're asking for a brand, I'm not sure. Just go by some generic Pre-Natal Multi-Vitamin. Walmart, Meijer, Target, RiteAid, Etc.

That's just the B vitamins in it. Nothing wrong with it.

If you come on down to San Diego I think I have just what the doctor ordered. :eyebrow: On a serious note though if I were you I would go with a liquid vit. the benifit of liquid vit. is that you absorb a lot more of the vitamins instead of pissing most of it away.

Didn't say anything was wrong lol. I just meant that I am not just looking to turn the colour of my urine.

Well that is almost impossible to do while taking vitamins unless you can find one that doesn't have any B in it. I doubt you will.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Still, not my point...

I am meaning that the colour of my urine doesn't matter, I just want a clean multi-vitamin in which I can use while lifting, Thats it!! Lol, it can change the colour or not, I really don't care.. but I was saying that just because it changes the colour, doesnt mean it does everything it should for you.

I will definately keep this in mind, thanks Rausch!

One a Day is not a good choice.
Solgar was the last Female Multi I used and I really liked it. Noticed a huge difference with it. There was another thread on this somewhere quite awhile back. I believe a good time release one was suggested but definitely stick to one that is formulated for females. Very important. There is a reason some brands cost more than others. It is worth the money to get the better brand.

Never heard of Solgar myself. You can get it in regular stores or need to go to a nutrition store to find it? And roughly how much was it for how many pills?

I went to their website and I couldn't figure out which one you were talking about as they have tonnes and none specified for women. Do you remember the exact name of the womans pill you were taking?

Yep, I think that is it. I got mine at the local grocery store. I think it is about $20, maybe more but it lasted for several months. Not all the grocery stores here carry it but if you have a whole foods or wild oats they would definitely have it.
