Muscle Beach bodybuilding contest

This 4th of July, Muscle Beach (venice) is having the "Mr. & Mrs." Muscle Beach & Figure contest. I went to the contest in May, it was pretty cool. If I make it out to this one, I will take pics and post them again.

I believe it starts around 10AM. Anyone plan on going?

YES YES YES!!!!!!!!! Is it on the 4th (Sunday?) I hadn't heard a word about it so thanks for the heads up. There's one in Culver City on 7/11 but I bet this one will be free.

By the way...this is gonna sound nuts but is it off the boardwalk area of Venice where all the shops are before you get to the basketball courts? Even though I trained at Gold's Venice for a year I never went to or found "muscle beach"

I forgot to mention that you can pick up a calendar of events from the Rec center office. Theres a few events coming up worth going to like powerlifting and Bench press contests.
