MusclePharm sued in Class Action Lawsuit over Glutamine
MusclePharm is now finding themselves on the receiving end of (yet another) class action lawsuit.
The complaint and cause of action is similar to what we saw in the first glutamine class action, filed a couple of months ago. In a general (and even specific sense), everything in the first lawsuit applies to this one as well ? as does this statement that most companies in the bodybuilding industry totally ignore competent and reliable scientific data:
But that?s only part of the problem, and one of the many reasons MusclePharm is constantly in danger of bankruptcy. They don?t rely on scientifically valid formulas, and instead favor heavy marketing (check their shareholder reports and you?ll see how funds are allocated).
They?re never ahead of trends, and unfortunately for them, they?re seemingly not even aware of them until it?s too late ? and this applies not only to them launching a ?natural? line of products several years after everyone else, but also to them getting hit with so many avoidable lawsuits.
