what resolution is it? have you tried converting it to a WMV file with windows movie maker if it's an mpeg?

next time, you could try importing it into windows movie maker, adding it to the timeline, then 'save movie' file, choose a reasonable bit rate eg 1.5mbps or even 500kbps, then press encode.

hopefully this will cut down the file size to about ~20% of the original without a loss of quality.
