I came across this site a few days ago when I googled a lying cheating man (turned out this site proved I was right!) but that is a story for another day...lol

I've toyed around with the idea of joining for the past few days, and here I am...

Life got busy (relationship, marriage, baby) and age has not made it come easy to keep weight off without effort.

Anyway I am 30 years old, divorced and have a 3 year old daughter. When I separated from my ex-husband 2 years ago, I was weighing 205. He had horrible eating habits and with him out of the house my eating habits changed to the way I was raised (very healthy). Within 3 months I went down to 163 almost with little effort...in the passed year I haven't watched what I eat so much...always on the run and have gained 10 pounds...I don't want to keep going.

I am 5'1" and weighing 174.

I am latina and have a very solid build, wear a 38DDD with thick and solid legs and hips...

My problem areas are my stomach, my inner thighs and my arms.

At my best I weighed 124 and had a six pack (that was at age 18...lol)...I swam in high school.

My goal right now is to lose 30-35 pounds and firm up my abs, arms and inner thighs.

What is the best way for me to do this? The gyms around me are difficult to join. I am a single mom doing it all on my own. Reliable babysitting is difficult and the gyms that do offer child care want a fortune for child care in my area($20 an hour!).

Single moms out there, how do you do it?! I'd love to hear from you.

the stomach seems to be a problem for everybody. But, I would recommend keeping track of your calories. One good way is with a website FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal. It's kind of a hassle at first, but after a while its easy. You can customize it too by adding foods that you like to eat. Try doing some kind of cardio even if it's walking and maybe later running. Also, do lots of crunches or sit-ups. Anyway don't give up keep working at it. I lost over 50 lbs doing this.
