Hey guys, im 19 yrs old, my name is Sean. I graduated high school in 2003, and i have a part time job, and go to school at my local community college. For a while now (Few years), ive been wanting to go to the gym and get in shape, but just couldnt get myself to do it. Im about 5'11, my metabolism isn't really slow or fast, its about normal. 170-175lbs fully clothed, fat belly, weakling u can call it. Frankly im tired of it. Me an my dad were thinkin bout getting a bowflex, BUT, i saw this forum, and people hate bowflexs it seems, and people say either go to a gym or get freeweights. I do want to build muscle but i dont want to be huge. I am take up golfing again, and i want to be able to smack the ball 250 yards with ease. Theres 2 gyms within 3 miles of me. One is a bally's the other one is a george browns fitness, i think they are in california only or a local gym. They just build one about 2 and half miles away, big ass facility, looks really nice, im gonna call and ask how much membership prices are. But i have a one problem with a gym. Im really weak, and id look stupid in there lifting these light ass weights, i also would need gym clothes which i really dont have. Input appreciated!
