The National Hockey League today announced that the Conference Final round of the 2003 Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin Saturday, May 10, when the Ottawa Senators host the New Jersey Devils in the Eastern Conference Final and the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim visit the winner of the Vancouver Canucks-Minnesota Wild series in the Western Conference Final.
The Canucks lead the Wild 3-2 in their best-of-seven Western Conference Semifinal series. Game Six is Wednesday in Minnesota (9 p.m., ET, ESPN, CBC) and Game Seven, if necessary, Thursday in Vancouver.
