protein is a basic food requirement.. protein powders supply that protein; therefore it is not a supplement. unless you consider your cottage cheese, steak or eggs a supplement as well. i consider my protein purchases as part of my overall grocery items.
as for the water- yes it is not a supplement however, you could do well for yourself by making sure that you get enough water each and every day.
the other items on the list are, in my opinion not worth their money. those people who wish to delude themselves into thinking that they are still natural by taking prohormones are just blowing smoke up their own ass. they should simply take steroids but i am sure that for some of them, the legal issues are of paramount importance.
and then there are a few people who are actively selling those particular items, alone or in combination with other herbs, potions and other snake oil products. So the boards here are going to be overwhelmingly positive for tribulus, glutamine, NO2 and other items not worth their money.
