I'm 20 yrs. old, blonde, 5'4, a long time calorie counter, and excited about this board. I've been a reader of the board for a long time, I just never registered until now. So heres to getting to know you wonderful people!

I am a long time protein bar addict. That is all I seem to eat. I'ld like to change that. Also I've gained about 10lbs recently; I wasn't at a healthy weight before (ed history). I know a good portion of the weight I've gained is muscle and my metabolism has increased (but my maintenance caloric intake still seems low). What I'ld like to do is cut some of the fat that came with the muscle in a healthy way.

First off, welcome to IM.

I think you should consider creating an exercise/diet journal in our journal forum. That way you can get a lot of feedback on what you're doing right and wrong.
