Long read sorry

Well I have an amazing opportunity in my grasp, or at least if all strings stay tied.

As some of you know, I used to aggressive rollerblade years ago.....

Well the sport is in a sort of transition period right now where it is making an attempt to get more popular....ect bring more money into the sport, try to contend with skateboarding more, because they are making it really big, and the sports are so similar but pros in rollerblading still have to work full time jobs and tour and travel and do videos.....ect...So if the skateboarders can make mass amounts of money through Tony Hawk and Bam Margera why can't rollerblading get in on it? Most extreme sports are doing well actually, at least the pro's can afford to live off of what they make from the sport, and most of them live quite well.

so what is going on is that the rap group Dipset (consisting of Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Camron....others) started a skate team sometime last year called DipSkate.

DipSkate is getting some good exposure and Mt. Dew picked them up to tour around with the And 1 streetball team...

Well I have been talking to the main pro on the team lately spitting some ideas since I have been in the biz for about 11 or so years, and he loves what I have thought of

and he wants to fly me out to New York and work more hands on with the team and tour with them...ect

I have been doing a little PR work for him within the industry already...ect

Pay will be great, he has only been doing this for about a year now and has deals over a million on the table in endorsements....

So who can I meet in New York?

New York City is crowded, expensive and loud. Not for me.

Well, I have never been there, and I am from small town Iowa, so yea it is very intimidating to me

I mean if I were to have to get a place myself and live alone I would not do it, but I will be living with a couple people and I think I would be more comfortable with that.....

I don't think anything says I have to be there more than a year...

It is too good of an opportunity to turn down...

actually that is the problem right now, it sounds too good to be true...so it probably is....

I wish you the best of luck. If your ever in trouble give me a buzz.

I can always pimp you on 42 street.

awesome thank you, I really hope it will happen, but I will believe it when it happens, again it just sounds too good to be true now...

I mean it really sounds like I could have potential to make a whole lot of money if I play my cards right and get involved in enough of the work...

I will make sure to add onto the news as more news comes my way

NYC is great. You definitely should come here and experience the lifestyle, especially if its about a 1yr commitment. I'll take ya boozing and whoring.

awesome, also it would be a good chance to tour the U.S. and possibly the world(The team has toured to Germany, other than that I dont know if they have been out of the U.S.)

Id love to visit some of the nice cities in the U.S....being in Iowa we hardly have a city that can be called a Metropolitan city...Des Moines probably barely makes it...but I dunno

I have only been on an airplane a few times which was two connected flights to and from Houston, so really it was more of a round trip type of thing even though I spent a couple weeks there which was my only experience out of the Midwest

and I would love to visit more places....I live a small town simple life right now, but Ive always love visiting Chicago when I can and see fresh faces every time I walk out the door, and not always having to maintain a certain image because I see the same people every day in my life at the moment....
