Long read sorry
Well I have an amazing opportunity in my grasp, or at least if all strings stay tied.
As some of you know, I used to aggressive rollerblade years ago.....
Well the sport is in a sort of transition period right now where it is making an attempt to get more popular....ect bring more money into the sport, try to contend with skateboarding more, because they are making it really big, and the sports are so similar but pros in rollerblading still have to work full time jobs and tour and travel and do videos.....ect...So if the skateboarders can make mass amounts of money through Tony Hawk and Bam Margera why can't rollerblading get in on it? Most extreme sports are doing well actually, at least the pro's can afford to live off of what they make from the sport, and most of them live quite well.
so what is going on is that the rap group Dipset (consisting of Jim Jones, Juelz Santana, Camron....others) started a skate team sometime last year called DipSkate.
DipSkate is getting some good exposure and Mt. Dew picked them up to tour around with the And 1 streetball team...
Well I have been talking to the main pro on the team lately spitting some ideas since I have been in the biz for about 11 or so years, and he loves what I have thought of
and he wants to fly me out to New York and work more hands on with the team and tour with them...ect
I have been doing a little PR work for him within the industry already...ect
Pay will be great, he has only been doing this for about a year now and has deals over a million on the table in endorsements....
So who can I meet in New York?
