Once Iraq is stabilized...

So your one of those people who believe Iran is buildings nukes and is gonna threaten us with it eh?

sort of...they are building nukes..there in NO doubt in my mind about that.

They can't threaten us in North America, b/c they don't have the know how on ICBMs. THere are only 3 countries in the world who do...and b.c Iran is so far away, they couldn't reach us. Their military threats would be regional....Israel, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. After that the our, and half the worlds oil supply, is cut off and held hostage by Iran....which is NOT acceptable. So we need to controlthe most demanded strategic resource...if not control it...at least allow a friendly regime to control it, like Saudi Arabia or a friendly Iraqi gov't.

If Iran dominated the region (middle east) you would see gas not just go to $8-$10 a gallon, but there would be a shortage....you wouldn't be able to fill up when you want to....we could be rationed gas.

Thats why its so important we develop alt. energy sources....unfortunately, it will never be done until we are FORCED to.

Don't forget w/ out oil....the military stops!

so you're one of those people who believe Iran is developing nuclear tech. for peaceful purposes like energy...even though they sit on the one of the largest reserves of natural gas and oil:rolleyes:

Have you heard any statements by the Persian president?...eh?

Check this out, America controls the oil in Afganistan, Iraq and Bush friends control the Saudi oil fields. But at the same time gass prices are at an all time high. So all these wars for oil is doing is just making people richer. A war with Iran is also about oil.

As far as nukes go, if they had em they'd problably be dangerous. But they dont, they dont claim they are like the N. Koreans, and there's no proof they're making them. They even said to the west that if we're so scared why don't we just help them build it.

As far as them having a crap load of oil goes, they even said oil doesnt last forever. Shit, we've got several nuclear plants ourselves. Now I'm not defending them but this whole "Iran is the bad guy" is govnt propoganda to get the masses behind a war.

And here's some intersting news, the nuclear technology the Iranians are using can be traced back to the CIA. It's a set up if yo ask me.

The technology can be traced back to the CIA. Where's the conspiracy there? Well techniaclly it is a conspiracy by definition but not "irrational" like your putting it.

You dont think its odd that they got there technology from American intel and now its being used against them?

On top of that, I dont know if you remember the A.Q. Khan Network:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdul_Qadeer_Khan

This dude sold nuclear technology to Iran and North Korea within the past few years. And when he was busted, guess what happened to him in Pakistan, Musharaff gave him a pardon. It's well documented that the Pakistani ISI is controlled by the CIA.

So think about this, Khan sells nuclear secrets to N. Korea and Iran, gets caught and gets let off the hook by the Pakistani govnt which is bascially run by America since the ISI is extremly powerful there. And now Bush is pushing for war with Iran and N Korea based on them having nukes.

Hmmmm......

i think once this does happen and propels our economy into the next decade and beyond, no one is going to be complaining, and Bush will be seen as a hero.

1. Iraqi oil production is way below what the U.S. thought it would be because of the constant attack on pipelines and over-all lack of security.

2. If the Al-Maliki and Muqtada Al-Sadr Shiite coalition can rule the country do you think they will just open doors to Americans, or other foreign nations.

The current government in Iraq the Americans are trying to install are very anti-American. They just keep their mouths shut because they need U.S. security and aid, and help in rebuilding their infrastructure.

The current Iraqi government support Hezbollah, and will be allied with Iran.

NOT AT ALL....ISI does have many ops with the CIA, but by no means is it controlled. I believe the ISI is the org. that hides and supports UBL.

Also, I've read a lot that suggest the CIA is not working with the BUsh admin...they miscontrew facts on purpose. There is an internal conflict b/t the two...backstabbing and lot of problems. They don't have the same goals and objectives.

Of course this is pure speculation...the fact of the matter is no matter what the UKGuardian and postchronicle say...its always speculation. Those outlets and yourself do not know by fact...otherwise it would be made more public.

Yes, the ISI is known to have helped out al-Qaeda and had armed the Taliban. But make no mistake about it, the ISI is basically controleld by the CIA.

As far as in-fighting within the CIA goes, not sure about that. But I do know there are people in intel who are pissed off about 9/11 and Iraq. Wayne Madsen and Ray Mcgovern are some of them. All that really matters is the boss be on the side of the President, if the President or boss gives an order, they HAVE to do it. Such as fixing the intel for Iraq, they didnt agree but had to cuz it was there job.

My friend wrote this a few days ago:

1. The Pakistani ISI has been funded by the United States and Saudi Arabia for years.

2. Weeks before 9/11, Senator Bob Graham, Representative Porter Goss, and Senator John Kyl fly to Pakistan.

3. Weeks before 9/11, Omar Sheikh, under the direction of Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad, wire transfers $100,000 to Mohammad Atta.

4. On the morning of 9/11, Senator Bob Graham, Representative Porter Goss, and Senator John Kyl have breakfast in Washington D.C. with Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad, the head of the Pakistani ISI. The same man who ordered the wire transfer of $100,000 to Mohammad Atta.

5. A few weeks after 9/11, it is reported on the online version of the Wall Street Journal that Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad ordered $100,000 wire transferred to Mohammad Atta.

6. A few weeks after the news of the wire transfer, Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad is sacked from his position.

7. Senator Bob Graham and Representative Porter Goss were in charge of the Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11.

8. Daniel Pearl, a Wall Street journal reporter, is alleged to have been on the trail of the $100,000 wire transfer. Omar Sheikh, the man Lt. General Mahmoud Ahmad ordered to wire transfer the money, is the prime suspect in the murder of Daniel Pearl.

9. The Joint Congressional Inquiry into 9/11 released a report with 28 redacted pages.

10. Family member Bill Doyle claims he heard from a source that part of the information in those 28 redacted pages refers to the United States' financing of the Pakistani ISI.

11. It has been alleged that the 9/11 Commissioners were bribed by a Pakistani Lobbying group not to mention Pakistan's involvement in the attacks of 9/11.

12. The 9/11 Report neglected to mention any of Pakistan's involvement in the attacks of 9/11.

13. Pakistan is a CLOSE ally of the United States in the so-called, "War On Terror".

14. When confronted about the $100,000 wire transfer, 9/11 Commissioner Thomas Kean denied any knowledge of the transfer, even though it was on the list of questions submitted by the 9/11 Family Steering Committee.

Iran won't have nukes because the United States' ability to control the oil rich region will be compromised.
