I know many of you have witness gym etiquette going down. Circuit training, people posing for selfies, hogging up the equipment while checking their facebook page, the typical fashion show look at my new headphones and shoes, and many other annoyances. What happen to the gym being a getaway or a stress reliever? I hate to sound old fashion, but damn I miss the days of serious people with serious goals getting that last rep in to be their previous record. Will there be any chance of taking our gyms back from the narcissistic jack asses with the "I need attention " mentalities? Weigh in on this topic everyone.

Avoid the arsehole hours 6am - 8am, 5pm - 7pm.

Best time to train is 10pm to 4am - only the dedicated to be seen and you'll always get the equipment you want

It's crazy for me being a truck driver, my hours are never the same so I try to get in a workout when I can. You are definitely right, I get the best workout early in the morning around the witching hours 2am to 4am.

I think those days are long gone but to be fair when this generation gets old they'll probably think back to their golden days as well. That's the circle of life!

When this generation gets old everyone will be gender neutral, vegan and married to their cat. Also gender neutral.

I was taking a selfie the other day and feeling myself on a different level when the gym manager walks out of the bathroom stall. I gave him the nod, and said "Ha you caught me", he said there's no shame in that. 5 minutes later he came back in and told me that if I ever want him to take pictures for me in proper posing then to just let him know.

I'm sure the dude was sincere, but it caught me a little off guard. And I'm not easily caught off guard.

I almost said.... how much we talkin here big fella? But I remained a christian that day.

I don't see it at the gym I go to; the people who go there are serious about improving their bodies and I don't see it at all, other than once in awhile some dumb ass doesn't rack the his plates.

At 4:30am it's not really an issue for me.
