I consider myself an experienced lifter. However, some people may feel that I overtrain. I sometimes lift 7 days straight, however, I split up the worked body parts by a few days. I never lift more that an hour, because I heard its pointless. I have read some articles and talked to guys that lift maybe 4 days a week or even less. I am constantly getting gains by lifting everyday and I feel good and rarly feel sore. It just bothers me to miss a day, because I got into such a focused routine. I get plenty of carbs, calories, protien in my diet, therefore, I feel my body can keep up with such a hard regiment. Sometimes I wonder if I would be much bigger and stronger if I cut back. I recently won a powerlifting contest and plan on doing a "Natural" bodybuilding competition in May. (So on that basis I'm by no means new to the weight lifting world.) Therefore, I dont really want to change something that is working for me. What do you guys think?
