Hello!
I'm glad to have found this forum, maybe it'll help with the questions I have and I know I'll get better results.
Me?
I'm 46, (well 3 day from 47), I race off road motorcycles, (heavily), I did a few years of bialthons and tri's, mountain bike racing. Did a few marathons, so I like to stay active.
One thing that's constant in all the "fun" activities I do- weight trainiging in the off season.(I never lift during racing season, 3-4 days of riding, racing 3 hours on Sunday is enough excersice, I need rest and recoup time).
I'm @ 150-160 lbs, (depends on the time of year), never have been able to really "bulk up".
I know I gotten stronger from the start of my lifting program to the end, (usuall from end of Nov to March), but never could break those peaks that I plan on.
Last year I had a GREAT off season lifing program, I was on the NOX program. Broke a Ton of personal bests, (easily)
Year before I tried Cratine, (only)(So,so results)
Now this year I delayed, (end of the season injury, broken hand), so I'm a few weeks from starting a program.
I have a few questions,
I like to plan a good program, but don't know where to start, I've read hundreds of others, how did they set it up???
How do you fight the "lifting burn out" I usually get in March, (the last few weeks I have to force myself to get in the gym, "if you skip a session, you get hammered on the track".
Bets suppliements to help an old body heal from the beating I take year after year??
Thanks
Joe
