I am in deep shit. I have a Philosophy mid - term paper due tomorow and I am having a hard time understanding this quote:
Rene Descartes says "In order to be free I need not be capable of being moved in each direction; on the contrary, the more I am inclined toward one direction ... the more freely do I choose that direction.???
If you guys could give me a few ideas I would really appreciate it. What do you guys think Rene Descartes is saying here?
