hold on i didnt think that drinking milk would make you grow i thought it just made your bones strongr??eat a lot of good foods, and lift heavy, and with good form. get lots of rest. then eat some more... here's some guidelines:
Good foods
protein: chicken breasts, tuna, cottage cheese, eggs and egg whites, lean cuts of beef
carbs: oats, whole wheat bread, yams, veggies, fruits, brown rice, barley
fats: raw almonds and walnuts, flax, fish oil(from salmon and other fatty fish or from caps), oilve oil, natty pb
Here are some guidlines to follow...
-eat 6+ meals a day, eating a meal every 2-3 hours
-eat at least 1g of protein be pound of body weight
-to get an estimate of how many calories you are going to need to eat to gain weight take your body werght X 20 (approximate)
-avoid processed food 80% of bodybuilding / powerlifting is diet and recovery - Only 20% of it is what you do in the gym. Get the diet and rest right and you will go far
But first i would lift light weights to get the form right. then when its a done deal! Pack on some serious weight for low reps. Should be a help.
here are some home made weight gainers i make:
put these in a blender and blend it:
2 cups milk
1 or 2 scoops chocolate whey
2 tbsp. of natty pb
1.5 cups oats
1 banana
you could just experiment with stuff like that
You could also try:
Yogurt
Cottage Cheese
Milk
Whey Protein
Honey
Just add the amounts to your taste or required levels of Carb/Protein/Fat and blend away
