Now ive got back into training regularly I am looking at a shake recipe. I've got some ephedrine arriving soon which i'll take after breakfast (60g muesli with skimmed milk and a banana). I will do my workouts in the afternoon and probably wont be hungry because of the ECA stack, so I will rely on shakes for the next few weeks for some calorie intake.

My initial idea is 30g whey protein, 30 of glucose ( can glucosamide sulfate act as a replacement for this?) 300ml of skimmed milk, a banana and some other fruit.

Waddya think?

All comments welcome :blah:

No milk on your post, it will delay your protein intake...

This is what I have found to work best for me:

8 oz filtered water
25-30g ON 100% Whey
3 medium pieces of frozen fruit (currently papaya and pinnaple, I get it on Sams Club)
1/2 cup of whole oats

I blend this on an electric shaker.

My post lifting shake is based on 50g of American Whey, and a varying amount of dextrose. It is around 80-90g on power days(chest, legs, back) and around 60g for other days(bis & tris, shoulders & traps). I add some cinnimon for more flavor. As far as added suppliments, I add Acetyl-L-Carnitine, green tea extract, taurine, and potassium glucaronate. I keep it all dry components so that I can put it in my shaker and take it in my gym bag and mix it with water as soon as I am done lifting.

GREAT idea....thought about doing that myself but I live like 2 miles from the gym

How quickly do I need to take the shake after a workout, it usually takes me about 30 minutes to get out of the gym and drive home, so once I make a shake it will be about 40 minutes.

The sooner the better. That being said, 40min is way too long. I always advise people to get it within 15min. I too live a little over a mile from the gym, but to me, every minute counts. I get mine ready before I am even done with my workout. Sometimes I start sipping on it before my last sets are done.

It is best to take it to the gym with you and simply drink it on your way home.

I prepare my shake with the ingredients before the gym and add water on my way out.

yeah man do it before and keep it for after

if you have a local gym, the guys who work there would probably be cool enough to let you keep your shake in the fridge.
