Prostate Enlargement from Testosterone

Any of you guys in your 40's that have prostate issues; enlargement? For example, waking up at night to urinate, urination frequency in the day time, a weaker than normal urine stream?
Im worried T replacement will cause it or make it worse.

Wonder what your E2 is? Could be it's that causing the problems. A guy's PSA needs to be monitored if going on TRT or not, but in the long run a guy's prostate is probably better off if he is on TRT rather than not.

Low dose cialis is approved for BPH...could take 5mg per day, suppose to help a guy in many ways...

My PSA will increase while on large dose. I think to a 3-4 last time I checked while using a gram of test. Normal cruise dose for me is 250mg EW. At that dose my PSA was .5. I'm still debating using fina while on and maybe off too

Your prostate enlarges with Test or AAS for that matter. The Dr or whoever you see needs to keep an eye on blood work. I take Beta Plant Sterile and Saw Palmetto twice a day with food. I've had similar issues on and off through the years. Be proactive and get blood work done and listen to your body. The prostate will go down after you come off-- which I recommend for 3 months. When you have those types of issues, it would be good to take a short break and see what happens? Good luck...,

You should establish a baseline and monitor it. I've "officially" been on TRT for 10 years and on the first day of replacement my PSA was .39 ten years later and thousands of grams of test later I'm still only at .59 I've done labs while "on" and it hasn't even budged. I think this is a very individual specific factor that you should always watch. You need to be watchful of spikes.

test cyp is a better choice it doesnt covert to Dht as easy as the gels do.. keep e2 levels in check.. take 2-3grams of fish oil per day..keep the sugar intake low..sugar raises estrogen and inflams the body as does alcohol..its normal to get up in the middle of the night cuz gravity has a big role in our bodies when we sleep..

Ive been using 10 mg of the drug Uroxatral for about 5 days and notice a big difference in my flow. Uroxatral is the same type of drug as flomax. my doc said uroxatral has less side effects and he is right, no side effects at all. my ejaculation is fine, in fact its more..no headaches, or stuffy nose either. this stuff really works great. take it at night with food.

3 weeks into the himalaya supplement and things have improved. No more waking up at night needing a piss, and things are definetley running alot smoother ; )

Also, last time I came out of PCT my libido dropped like a ton of bricks and never really recovered. I'm like 4 weeks out of PCT now and still have raging boners lol

I read that ejaculating 3+ times a week drastically reduces your risks for prostate cancer. That works for me.

I have also wondered all of these things. I don't really wake up in the middle of the night to take a leak, but I find that my stream has become somewhat weak, and will be VERY weak if I've been holding it while sitting in traffic or through a movie or something. I'm 42, so it could just be part of my age, but it seems to have gotten worse since being on HRT, although that too has just been over the past couple of years. PSA is a rock solid .5 over the past 2 years. I supplement with saw palmetto/fish oil daily, but maybe not enough?
