I've been taking whey shakes for a little while now, and I use either Prolab Prowhey, or lately ON Whey. I hear more and more people talking about throwing oats into their shakes, which im positive is a good idea, but I usually just take some frozen fruit (mixture of a few peach slices/strawberry/pineapple) and toss them in my shake.. I know this adds the carbs I need, but how much better is oats? Also, im not sure what kind of oats everyone is referring to... is it the same as buying plain oatmeal and just dumping a pack in? can I buy this stuff in bulk?
