recieving packages at an apartment?

just moved into a new apt 2 weeks ago...

got something coming in the mail, just wondering if anyone has had any problems geting packages in apartments before...

this one is taking longer than usual.

and plus i live in the fking ghetto.

Depending on your source some places don't deliver to a PO Box

go to the ups store and get a box. they can accept anything! they have you sign a proxy form and they will sign for you. You dont put po box on the address with them just the stores location and your box # so, 123 main st #3-400 anywhere USA. so no one knows its a box. I love it been using them about 3 yrs now.

not worried bout the packages getting checked. (they need a warrant ne ways to open usps mail)

im worried about it being left on my doorstep and then the kneegrows grabing it.

Be home the day its scheduled to be delivered. I know some apartments have all packages brought to the main office so you can pick it up there and not worry about it getting stolen. I've seen that at friends places.

just called UPS, they have mailboxes there for $60 (for 3 months)

You can give them a list of names that will be receiving mail at that box. I have a business name that my stuff is shipped to so my name isn't on anything... You can just make up a name for your business then tell ups store and shipper...

You should be fine. Make sure not to sign for anything...and watch the tracking. Be home the day it's supposed to be delivered.

Well depending who he ordered from and what he ordered a signature may be required..
If it makes it through customs without problems and it's not over 4 weeks I'd sign.. Jmo

where i live the packages get put into a community box where they put the key in your mail box and you have to open the large box. Just make sure you check your mail every day, because if you dont they will take your shit back to the USPS office. Just makes more of a head ache for you.

Customs and Home Land Security can open anything they want if coming from overseas. If they suspect anything or find anything they will send agents directly to your front door.

The old days of receiving a seizure letter and ignoring it are long over.
