Robuvit, a stimulant that makes you sleep better
Robuvit, a water-based extract from oak, has a mild stimulating effect. You don't expect a stimulant to improve sleep, but according to an Italian human study, Robuvit does.

Italian researchers, affiliated with Irvine3 Labs [the institute that developed Robuvit], experimented with 40 subjects. About half of them chose to supplement with Robuvit for 8 weeks. These subjects took a capsule containing 100 milligrams of Robuvit three times a day. The total dose therefore comes down to 300 milligrams of Robuvit per day.
The other subjects took no supplement.
Indeed, not a test design that makes you happy. Sigh.
Results
Before, during and after the supplementation period, the researchers questioned the subjects using, among other things, the Regensburg Insomnia Scale [RIS]. You can see this scale below.

Supplementation with Robuvit improved most aspects of sleep. Robuvit put test subjects to sleep earlier, made sure that people did not wake up too early, ensured that the subjects were less likely to wake up in the evening due to a little noise and also made the subjects feel fitter during the day.

The publication we are talking about now, which by the way appeared in 2018 in the Journal of Neurosurgical Sciences, does not reveal who funded this research. However, since Irvine3 Labs has a close relationship with Robuvit producer Horphag, we consider this study sponsored.
