I want to know what you guys do, now obviouslly we all use different protein powders but they all have probably the same scoop in there, when I make my shake I use 2 scoops but they are not exactly two, there is always a heap in there, so when I grap for ptotein I always tihnk that if i level the protein down to exactly one scoop then I would get less, so when the protein bucket says how much protein is in one serving do they mean a heaping scoop or a leveled one.......did I explain that right ??

they go on a heaped serving i think

Each scoop is usually rated to hold a certain amount. It will be marked on the back of the scoop in small letters - like 50cc or 75cc. You can look on the back of the bottle and see how much a serving is supposed to be, then compare it to the size of the scoop to make sure.

I think they mean a level scoop unless it says "heaping scoop."

thanks

yeah you are right, they say a level scoop, but it just doest seem enoguh, its all in my head tho, I realized I go thru protein a little to fast so now I am only going to use a level scoop for a serving (i have 2 scoops as a protein shake )

mine is 20g/scoop

Better still. Take a level scoop and weigh it (taking into account the weight of the scoop) on electronic scales. Then work out how much protein you need. Then adjust #scoops and scoop size accordingly, based on the nutritional info on the bucket.
