Basically every drug has a half life, steroids included. If for example, you were to inject 200mg of Decadurabolin once weekly, for 6 weeks, how would you know when you were "off"? Would you be "off" when you had finished your last dose? You would be able to calculate this from the half life of Deca. The half life of Deca is around 14 days. This means that 14 days from your last shot of 200mg of Deca, your blood levels of Deca will contain 100mg of the steroid. Another 14 days from then, i.e. 28 days from last dose, your blood levels will contain 50mg of the steroid. This amount then keeps halving every 14 days. Therefore you can clearly see that when you finish your cycle, even though you are not putting any steroids into your body, you may think that you are now "off", however you still have, and will still have for some time after your last dose, "active" blood levels of the steroid. Therefore you can plan what to use, how long for, and how long off your cycle, based on these half life's.

Below a list of half-life's of the most commonly used steroids, esters and ancillary compounds.

^ Yet another example from another source. I truly believe half lives are different for everyone. Not one guy having two days and another guy having eight hours but factoring in genetics, age, receptor response, amongst other things, the differences are there but closer rather then further away. So if the mean average for d-Bol is a 4-6 hour half life you may have one guy on a 3-4 hour spectrum and another at the 6-8 hour spectrum. I think it really depends on the individual.

What to beleive.
one site will say Test Enanthate has a 10.5 day half life and another says 6 days.
NPP = 2 days or 4.5
Prop = 1 day or 4?

where is the real data? anyone know?

Steroid Half Life Chart

What the hell.
It's going to differ slightly with every person, some people have more deesterase enzyme than others, and this makes the half and active lifes shorter.. but for general circumstances, take the length of the ester chain, the half life will be a day or two longer than the ester. when you get past 6-7carbons, it tends to add an extra 2 days per carbon beyond that point...

ex:prop has 3 carbons... 3-4 day half life(some will say 4.5 day... it will be somewhere in the vicinity of 3 to 5....)
decanoate has 10 carbons... take 6, then add 2 for every one after that(6+8=14..... somewhere between 14 and 18....)there is some variance in there... but it will be fairly close.... you'll never be able to base it off an exact number cause everyone's body will assimilate the ester at a different rate, but it will fall in a range of 2-10 days for each person(the long esters can have more variance, due to the differing speeds at which each body assimilates the esters... and the more carbons will cause more variance, since each carbon will have a variance of a couple days)

cypionate actually contains a more than 6 carbons, but due to there being a ring, it is considered to be 6 by most(the ring only counts as 1 carbon for all accounts and purposes)

This method isn't exact, but it gives you a good basis to figure any esters within a few days....
