T4 or T3 with tren

I'm having decision making issues,, which isn't abnormal for me I might add.

I'm on a cut taking 350mg tren and 400 test E for muscle retention which is actually resulting in some mass gains in a calorie deficit which is an added bonus.

Wanting to give t3 or t4 a go as I never have.

I understand t3 is the active hormone and t4 is a prohormone which the body converts to t3. I also understand the dosage needing to be higher for t4 vs t3. Lastly, I know t3 is much more catabolic than t4.

In my mind I'm leaning towards t4 to avoid how catabolic t3 is but at the same time I'm wondering if the tren and test is enough to hold my muscle and prevent it from being lost by the t3.

What is your experience? Does tren hold muscle well enough to keep t3 from eating your muscle along with the fat at a lower dose of say 50mcg a day.
