A Coast Guard icebreaker and Russian tanker loaded with fuel for delivery to an iced-in Alaska city have been stalled by Bering Sea ocean currents and thick ice Wednesday. (Jan. 11)
It will make it. Those ice breaker ships aren't to be fucked with. It is just going to take a while because it has to keep doubling back every time the freighter gets stuck.
They should put a 5-inch gun on that ice breaker and just wail on the ice until it is nice and slushy like, freezes over wail on it again from a distance no more doubling back....
Just some destructive criticism from a destructive minded, as of late, kind of dude....
A Russian tanker is preparing to off-load more than a million gallons of diesel and gasoline to fuel-starved Nome, Alaska, but it has to position itself near the town's iced-in harbor to send the fuel through a mile-long hose. (Jan. 14)
