I don't have any links handy (but I'll go lookin'), but by the prompting of some misinformation on this forum, I figured I'd post this. When one researches the history of steroid legislation it can easily be found that the idea for the bill was not brought out of the FDA, but by Congress itsself. There are several different postulations as to what the underlying reason was, but it was not considered to be a dangerous enough health issue for the FDA to reccomend legislation. Kinda' makes one wonder, doesn't it?
