I browsed quickly through the threads and saw nothing. I did see that Isiah is a retard though! Ha Ha!!

Anyhoo, I'm planning on a North East excursion to go see my favorite basketball team.... sure I can see them when they play Orlando and Miami but I'd rather see them on their homecourt!

Anyone a fan and/or living in/near Boston?

Let me know because I'd like to know what hotels and restaurants that you'd recommend.

PS. Poll Time!

Here are some personal opinions of mine!

Spurs- I loved them when they had David Robinson. I loved it when they swept the Cavs. But, I'm tired of the Ginobili-Parker swing!

Cavs- one man show and I hated that the matchups of last year happened. If Miami did NOT play Chicago, they would've made it to the Eastern conference finals. Plus, King James is a one man show... mostly

Detroit- No more bad boy! I don't like Chauncey's obvious moves/jump shots. I'm tired of Rips face mask and Rasheed's bickering. Tayshun who??

Suns- They should've beaten Spurs last year. I don't think Nash has a chance anymore. Trade him back to Dallas and get rid of that other doofus!
I like them, too!

Celtics- I want them to win!!! They'll never be the BIG 3 of the old. Losing to the Bobcats bc/ Ray Allen didn't play. Their bench is light and Rondo is short. They better do some readjustments before the Allstar break! Ahh... the glory of the Green!

Utah- Okur..... blah! Kirilenko, go cry some more. Boozer ROCKS though! But they won't win.

Mavs- Eddie Jones starting again. Over Stackhouse? Interesting! Well, after losing the first rounds last year and then before that, losing to Miami. Best wishes for the crown. Cuban.......... no comment!

Lakers- Kobe dribbles.... Kobe looks for his shot, kobe looks for his teammates... can't see them, so he goes for the shot. Kobe gets his own miss/rebounds.... kobe dribbles back out------------------- get my drift? Kobe doesn't pass the ball! They should rename it, "The Los Angeles Bryant

Portland- Hmmmnnnn... if they do get close, they'll lose because of their "lack of playoff experience"

Knicks- I love Madison Square Garden! Oh yeah, the Knicks play here, too! I mean, lose their too! Shame on them and Isiah should be embarrased! Well, he'll make history that team in the future. How do make a team "suck" and not do anything about it. (for now) Maybe he'll wake up soon!

There you have it! My asshole-hard opinion!

No NBA fans.... tsk tsk! Or, maybe my poll sucks along with my opinions! :haha:

Probably one of the biggest Celtics fans right here. I went to opening night, the home loss to Detroit :( and I plan on making it to plenty more including playoff games by the end of the season.

I'm a big Celtics fan as well but i am not able to watch the majority of their games since i go to school in New York. I went to the Magic game earlier and it was a lot of fun.

C's have lost 2 of their last 3 already. Seems like they are taking it easy now and coasting along until the playoffs. They're not playing with the same intensity they had a few months ago.

I don't think they're playing with any less intensity, teams just tend to have these hiccups over the course of a long season. I've liked the Spurs all year, but they were handled with ease by the Pistons the other night (another game I bet and lost) at home and I wonder if Ginobli and Duncan's recurring injuries hurt their chances.

I can't see the Boston Getting past Detroit if they face up in the Playoffs. Boston's point guards just get abused by Billups, Prince can handle pierce on D (at least bother him with his length) and Detroit has enough Bigs to slow down Garnett. As much as it hurts me to admit Detroit will win the East, as for the championship San antonion will repeat.

I have to agree with hialeah.... well, Danny Ainge is a smart man, I think they'll pick up a veteran Guard before the break. It would be the wise thing to do along with a veteran big man..

However, I think someone is going to have Spurs number and someone on that Spurs team will have an injury which will alter the Western Playoff's.

Let's see how mad the Mavericks get.

Sam Cassell or Brevin Knight would be nice. Rondo has really been coming around this season. Fun player to watch. But yeah we need a true 2nd string PG. Tony Allen makes me cringe when he's handling the ball.

They won't trade for either of those two if Payton continues to say time and time again he wants to come back and play for the C's. Travis Best as plan "b" has also said he wants to play for his hometown squad.

you better hope they don't get payton. By seeing his play last year in Miami I say he can only give you 20 solid minutes after that even people running backards are faster then him, he still got good handles and basketball I.Q but the man is just old. travis best got mad handles and can run your offense, but he is just garbage on D,also I dont know how much he got left in his tank.

Payton would be a good edition. I'm not sure about Travis Best... he's also small.

Wizards pick up back-to-back victories over Celtics

It kinda shows that the Celtics are a team that is not going to completely dominate and I fear that when it comes time to step up int he playoffs and bring their A game... we are seeing it! :scared:

I just hope that their are some modifications and changes to the roster happen.

Gotta go with the Spurs. I don't think C's can hang with the big boys come playoff time.

The "C's" are starting to tick me off and the "C" is not going to mean the Celtics to mean anymore but the other less favored "C" word that we refer to women that are being "beyond bitches"!

OK, the Celts beat the trailblazers which also shows that those guys are very young over there (Portland) and their record is for show. When playoff time comes, I guess we will all see what's for real and what's not.

Celtics are nice, but they won't do anything in the playoffs. Never been a big Garnett fan. Detroit will come out of the east.

Let's see if they come out to be like that Awesome-killer team of Seattle back in the early 2000 that comprised of Payton, Kemp, Schrempf, Macmillan and I can't remember that center that had that KILLER record regular season only to be upsetted by Denver's Nuggets w/ Dikembe!

Oh, it would suck if they drew Washington or Charlotte in the first round being that they hava a hard time beating those teams!

There was no reason for the extra taunt that Garnett did last night at home against his former team. I don't care how hard he scrambled to the floor to get that loose ball to win that game... but, that extra taunt is going to cost him!

They won by one freakin' point to one of the worst teams in the NBA.

Puh-lease!

Garnett didn't play and they lost by a few points to Orland-dope. Not too bad!
