^It would have if it had been filmed when many of those actors were pulling $20 million per film. Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Jet Li aren't nearly as popular as they once were for box office draw at least. Schwarzenegger has a cameo, so his fee can't be the same as for a feature film in his prime.
And actors have a long history of accepting a lower amount when it comes to a vehicle that they just want to be a part of. "The Big Chill" as one example.
Uh, okay, maybe I need an example of a movie not from 1983.
Regardless, that film boasted Tom Berenger, Glenn Close, Jeff Goldblum, William Hurt, Kevin Kline, Mary Kay Place, Meg Tilly, JoBeth Williams, and more actors, all stars at the time who accepted roles in an ensemble cast to star in a movie that went on to receive three Oscar nominations (best actress in a supporting role, best picture, and best writing/screenplay written directly for the screen).
I don't see an Oscar for this one, but it could easily turn out to be a great action flick!
