There are many websites to buy discounted gift cards. Great for the Holidays...

Just figured I'd let those of you who may be interested know how to buy discounted gift cards online.
Discounts are anywhere from 1-2% off up to 35% off.
I buy many gift cards regularly. Not just to give as gifts but also to use when making my own purchases.
Why not? Every little bit can help, especially in this economy.

I am not affiliated with any of these companies.

I have dealt with these four companies quite often and have always gotten the cards I paid for...

Plastic Jungle
ABC Gift Cards
Cardpool
Gift Card Rescue

Turnaround is usually less than two weeks.
The electronic gift cards are usually delivered via email in a few minutes.
Plastic Jungle has an approval process that includes getting a code texted or called to your phone.
Plastic Jungle is also the only one that I dealt with customer service over the phone.
Their CSR's are in India and can be frustrating to talk to.
When PJ first started they had a lot of "glitches" which seem to have been fixed as my last orders have gone smoothly.


There are more websites selling discounted gift cards but I have not personally dealt with them...

Definitely. Never really thought about it. I have bought a few from friends that needed cash tho

Some of them do drop after the holidays.
I was getting JC Penney's cards at 29% off last year. I think part of it was do to JCP's new marketing campaign which really sucks.
JCP has taken a pounding in the market over the last year or so.

Some, like Walmart and Target never get more than a 3% discount.
Lowe's and Home Depot were always 7-9% off until recently. Probably due to the holidays the discounts dropped to around 5%.
