I went to my primary care last year and had blood tests done which showed my testosterone at 420, which I know was not out of the "normal" range but for a 24 year old that works out 5 days a week and eats clean except for the typical Saturday pizza and beers during college football I wasn't exactly thrilled with that number. While looking online I found that my levels were typical for a man in his 70's and 80's so I wanted to get further help.
Last week I went to the urologist and showed him the blood work from last year which he told me he wanted me to get tested again and run a full hormone panel which I will do next week. Although, he did tell me that if those numbers came back in the 400's he would like to put me on testosterone to get my levels between 750-900. I asked him about inject and he told me that as of the last few years he has switched from inject to the testopel and seemed very confident this was the best form of trt. I would feel most comfortable with inject but he was very persistent on these pellets being the safest and most effective form.
Has anyone here had experience with testopel and/or inject for trt?

Well being on a bodybuilding forum, are you going to go further than a trt? I'm 28 and will have to trt the rest of my life, but I still do cycles.

The only downfall is the doc said they don't allow self inject anymore and that I would have to come in every other week which would be an inconvenience. Also, inject is 100% covered by my insurance and pellets aren't.

In that case I don't think it'd be worth either. I don't go through my doc since I can't get enough for a decent cycle, insurance won't cover it and my doc wanted to give me 200mg every 2.5 weeks (which is a fucking retarded injection schedule)

Bro.. so your saying your insurance covers you completely for the TRT injections, at the doc office, as scheduled by them?

If that's true, why not do it and get your test levels up, with their help, on your insurance company's dime? That means the gear and labs will be covered..& monitored. You should do it, without hesitation.

If in fact you have low T, then getting your TRT right is imperative before you blast.

Don't be in rush to mess your body up..
