Giving you the no/low carb on the road update.. Goodole Friday meal run down.. Breakfast protien shake with 25g protien 2 g sugar 4 g carb , snack beef jerkey, lunch 2 chicken breast from burger king grilled chicken sandwich($12 just to throw bun away), supper - chilis- 6 buffalo wings , 8oz siloin, broccoli .. 1 jack daniels and diet coke because hell it's the weekend!!!

Here is my day,

Protein shake, 75g whey isolate, 10 fish oil
Post workout, 75g whey and 50g dextrose
6 eggs scrambled in butter, 6 turkey sausage patties
tuna with mustard, 1 Haas avocado
75g whey isolate, 20 raw almonds
cross rib roast, broccoli, 2 Haas avocados, green salad with oil/vinegar
Later before bed, 75g whey blend, 10 fish oil

About 1.5 gallons of water.
 
That's a lot of protein powder! My typical day:

Breakfast shake (coconut water, casein, avocado, kiwi, spinach, hemp seed, flax, blueberries, chocolate beans)
Egg Salad (4 hard boiled eggs, bacon, guacamole, tomato)
Chicken Salad (8-10oz grilled chicken, guacamole, tomato)
pre/post workout shake (whey and oats)
Chili with asparagus for dinner
 
I was busy yesterday so shakes made it easy. Most days I just have 2, one being post workout.

Youngen', your 21 years old and don't know shit unless you've read it. I've been 300 pounds plus, have had my upper abs show at 280 plus. I eat this way to drop some weight, but I started bulking when you were 10. So, I've lived it, not just read about it. Have a nice weekend.

6 egg white
2 whole eggs
6 turkey bacon
2 scoops whey
1/2 cup oats
3 tbs natty PB
1 low carb tortilla
1/4 cup fresh salsa

pre workout
1 scoop whey
bcaa powders

post workout
2 scoops whey
1/2 cup oats
3 tbs natty PB (yes I'm addicted)

1/2 whole rotisserie chicken
1/2 (about 1 cup) sweet potatoe

soon will be

2 scoops whey
1/2 chicken

1 lg can tuna
2 whole eggs
1 head of broccoli (steamed)

before bed - 1 cup cottage cheese




oh and just in case SD, I'm 6'-4" 245lbs and 14% BF

Im "235when i started down to 225 right now... I dont do the BIG look anymore I feel better bein lean ..have been up to 280 before...Plus you might not understand thisbut the wifelikes the 225 me alot more than the 255-265me..im sure Anabolic knows what im talking about!!!

I'm shooting for 245-250, being "big" is not all it's cracked up to be.
 
All I focus on is gettin cut now... Ive got a shoulder and an elbow that makes god awful noises from lifting to get big...

Yep, that is true. But for me, with a baby on the way, I think the size game needs to take a backseat to the daddy game for a bit. Don't want to scare my little girl when she comes! LOL

2 questions bro. i have read numerous times before that your body can't effectively process more than approx. 50g of protein at a time. i DO NOT know this to be true, but what's your take/reasoning on 3 scoops per shake??

I was home so it made it a lot easier. Now, it's 4:30am and my fat ass is getting ready for an hour of cardio, fuck!!!!!

do you do your early AM cardio/workout in a fasting state, or do you eat/drink something prior??

again, i've read opinions why you should and shouldn't. curious what you think.

i go to the gym at 5am / 5 days per week. that's the only time of the day i can go. i've tried eating something but it makes me sick. i've tried getting up at 4, eating and laying back down until 5, giving my belly a chance to settle, but i usually can't go back to sleep, so it makes for too long of a day and i feel like shit. hitting the gym on an empty stomach seems to work best for me. people say it's bad to workout empty, others say it burns more fat. idk. . .

on a side note: gp's andromix is awsome. i'm eating WAY less and dropping some fat already, but strength is up.

I don't buy into that whole 50g deal, I think your body absorbs what it needs and is accustomed to. 75g for me is what I have discovered over the years keeps me anabolic and aids recovery.

On the cardio, I sip BCAA's in cold water during cardio and also during training. And i to train most of the time on an empty stomach, just with BCAA's I buy them in bulk, 5 pounds at a shot. I'm like you, I just can't eat to close to training or it makes me sick. 3 hours is about where I need to be, but I'm not getting up at 2am to eat prior to training.

thanks for the info, bro. maybe i'll try bcaa's. i've thought about it before. i have kinda always thought bcaa's, dextrose, etc. were like snake oil.
 
BCAA'S, dextrose, whey, creatine, glutamine and fish oil are staples in my supplements along with joint/liver support. Give em a try.
