Very good video about reps/dems and Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac

Yes it is a good video, it was posted earlier as well a few weeks ago I think. The real question is: Why isn't the TV media showing footage like this?

BTW, Barney Frank's involvement is virtually criminal.

I agree. It really hurts Obama's chances of getting my vote.

However, the same could be said about many republicans that have been in office over the last 8 years. I'm trying to figure out who is the lesser of the two evils.

I think if Obama wins the Republicans will return to their conservative roots in 2012, but America will suffer considerably with a very liberal President and a liberal Senate and House to pass all of his measures.

I think if McCain wins, there will be more spending discipline in government, but not enough, and it might prevent needed reform in the Republican party.

The question for me is simply: Would reform of the Republican party be worth the amount of damage an Obama presidency (with liberal House + Senate) could do--i.e. new massive entitlements, harming American businesses, harming trade. Believe it or not, I originally considered going 3rd party when McCain won the primary, because he is watered-down conservatism, though I don't believe he is nearly as bad as GWB spending-wise. After reading Obama's proposals on healthcare, taxes, turning more of our soverignty over to the UN, and ~$1,000,000,000,000 in new spending, I honestly don't think the damage is worth it and I hope he will be defeated.

I don't know, I feel that this video isn't telling the whole story. It seems like it is trying to make republicans come off as white knights and democrats as thugs out to do no good.

I think both sides are thugs out to do no good. I think that both sides have individuals worthy of praise. We should not be voting on party lines anymore, that is an antiquated method that is damaging our country. We need to focus on the individual, what they believe in, and their record of actually voting for (or not voting for) and enacting legislation based on what they believe in.
