Ok, I have an extremely fat metabolism. I could be eating something and I could already go poop it out. lol. I usually go to the restroom 3 times a day. Ok, sorry for all that info. But I've taken several weight gainers, protein shakes and nothing has helped me gain any weight. I've been at 125lbs for about 4 years now. I'm 21 years old. One of the weight gainers got me up to 128lbs in one mth, I kept taking it for another month and I didn't gain any more. So I stopped taking it and I went down to 125 again. What can I take that will help me get to about 140lbs and actually maintain the weight. Thanks in advance.

Post up your current diet including cals.

People have a tendency to not eat as much food when they begin taking weight gainers. Remember, weight gainers are supposed to be added on top of the caloric amount you are already eating. If you are not gaining weight, you are not eating enough.

I really don't keep exact track of my cals taken. I eat about 5 times a day. It varies. I eat a lot of grilled chicken and beef. Some times I'll eat it with vegetables, sometimes by itself. I try to get in as many cals as I can, but I'm guessing I'm doing about 5000-7000 a day. It's really hard for me to keep exact track of all the cals taken in. As of right now, I'm not taken any supplements besides multivitamins. I was hoping someone could guide me into a good supplement that would help me gain weight.

About working out..
Tuesdays- Chest & Abs
Thursday- Legs & Back
Sunday- Arms & Shoulders

My stats are I'm 21 years old, 5'6 125lbs. Arms 12", Waist 29", Chest 36"

I hope that's enough information for someone to help me out

If you aren't keeping track of your diet I have a hard time believing you are reaching those caloric intakes or how difficult it is to do that.

Start by keeping track of everything you eat for one day. That means the amounts, weights, ounces, whatever info is necessary to get a proper caloric count. Make it a day that you think you're eating that many calories. Get up the next day, get your shit together, and count up the calories you've eaten. My guess if you are anything like me is that like IainD said you will be way below 5-6000 calories. After you figure this out add up the macros. Carbs, proteins, and fats. Opinions vary but you need to eat around 50% carbs, 20% protein, and 30% fats. I took these ratios from W Brinks BB Revealed. Read the stickies completely for a wealth of information.

Thanks for the replies, but I would like to know if there are any supplements that would really help me gain weight. I know my meals are the main thing, but I would really like to know of any good supplements.

Food is the best supplement... sorry for telling the truth.

People often ask questions around here and often they are asking the wrong question for their problem.... and then they get upset when all the responses are answering a different question - the one you should have asked to begin with.

If you want to gain weight, the question should be: "How do I gain weight?", not, "What supplements should I be taking"

We are trying to get to the root of the problem which is being too skinny.

If you insist on asking, "What supplements should you take to gain weight", the answer is "NONE"

If you want to solve the problem, start listing the food you ate today.
