Where do vegans get their Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D besides supplements and supplemented foods?

Vegans get their Vitamin B12 from the intestinal production by gut bacteria. These bacteria feed on fiber and produce this vitamin. Also if you take curd and other fermented product you get it from there too.

This vitamin is very big in size and does not get absorbed in the body from food source as it is difficult to reach the point without disintegration. The best way is only when it's produced in the large intestine.

Also it needs a cofactor for absorption that is related to the HCl produced by the stomach. So if someone is using antacids or drink soda like things then they may be deficient of this vitamin even if they consume it in higher quantities.

Vitamin D is produced in the body too. When the sunlight falls on the skin directly Vitamin D is produced in the body.

The best source of vitamin D is the sun. Supplements can lead to more vitamin D in the body which can damage the liver. While naturally that never happens by sunbathing.

Vitamin D is very important for the body and also reduced the cholesterol levels.
Thanks!
