April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday.

Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older.

And, there on television, she said it was "exciting." Regarding body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day...like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first. The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Maya Angelou said this:

"I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow."

Normally I would believe you.. but since you are spending a lot of time R&R I wonder if you have watched Oprah.. :squint:

I have watched her before, it is a chick show IMO.

I am impressed by Oprah and what she has accomplished as well as the power she has. Anything she showcases on her show, like a book, becomes an instant bestseller.

The wife always has her on. It's funny because she only can watch half her shows, because the other half are always tear-jerker sob story shows. I know she does good things for people and she is from Chicago, so I figure she can't be that bad.

you are write. she has great topics! I watch her with the girls at the beauty salon as I get my daily peticure. I love all of her all the books int he Opra Book club too! She is such a great human being. I respect any fat pig that has a chef and trainer to make sure that she stays in shape and yet she still fucks it up.
