Hey,
Im 56, 5'11, 180 lbs. In the gym five days a week for ninety minutes, three days upper body, two days lower. I use an estrogen bloc, DHEa (prescriptions), protein powder, creatine, glutamine, amino acids, zinc, vitamin E, multivitamins, fish oil. I drink lotsa red wine (for thirty-five years). I'm not losing ground, but not really gaining. Am I too old to expect more? Anybody else out there like me?

welcome to IM. in the gym 5days a week for 90min. wow go post your routine in the training forum and get it checked out ;)

Well your going to get alot of this

Push/Lower/Pull Routines. This is 3 days in the gym lifting weights. Another 2-3 days doing cardio. Hell thats alot of time in the gym. 90 minutes everyday for 5 days is very tough to keep up with, not to mention your getting close to overtraining if you are not already. At 56 I may even cut it back to lifting weights 2 days a week and cardio 2 days a week. Best of luck to ya. Like was previously stated go ahead and post your routine in the workout section. Besides that post your diet in the nutrition section because training is only a small part of it. Nutrition is actually much more important.
