I have been researching now. HSBC seems to have the highest APY at 5.05%. I.N.G is 4.35%. They all say subject to change. What is the best one out there?

Nobody has one? Any info would help. I read both web-sites but I would like to hear people's experiences.

I have a Paypal account I'll let you save your money in

I bank with the HSBC plus i have an online savings account with them, i have a standing order where money goes from my normal account into the online account plus i can access both via the internet and move money about, as long as you dont touch the online savings that month you dont loose the interest, its not alot of money going in and i dont really miss it, so really its there for a rainy day...

saving accounts are for the poor

I have one at ING with around 1k and 1 somewhere else thats a CD with 1k. I make like 4/month off ING one. Not to much...

I have my mortgage with ING! Killer rates :thumb:

what is your investment horizon?

I just need a savings account. I'm fully diverified. I just want an account to keep a few thousand in. I'm maxed on ROTH and put as much as I can into 401K.

well if you are just storing a couple of thou and KNOW that you wont be touching it, you may want to look into a CD. I think that most saving accounts barley cover inflation
